Over the past 10 years, Jeremie Chouraqui has been successfully representing French and international clients from over 20 different nationalities in commercial litigation, arbitration and M&A deals. Lawyers and counsels in Jeremie's team speak French, English, Spanish, Russian, Italian and German.
Jeremie’s curiosity has led to an international education. Born and raised in Paris, he received a bilingual, multicultural education at Ecole Active Bilingue. In 2000, he graduated from HEC Business School in Paris, ranked as Europe’s top business school, and went on to earn a DESS in tax and business law at University Paris Pantheon-Sorbonne. He continued his studies at Sciences Po Paris, France's leading school for government and international relation studies, and at Brown University as an exchange student.
Jeremie is a board member of the Balthus Foundation, a cofounder of the digital think tank Hub Institute, and is involved in various community organizations.
RICHARD SPITZ
Our partner Richard Spitz is a seasoned consultant with more than 25 years' experience advising business leaders, private equity funds, venture capitalists, technology companies and entrepreneurs. Richard has expertly assisted his many clients with organizational transformations and leadership changes, and performed countless board and management assessments.
Richard spent 13 years at Korn/Ferry International (NYSE: KFY), the world's leading talent management company, where he served as Chairman of the Global Technology Market and was a member of the firm's Global Operating Committee. At Korn/Ferry, he conducted hundreds of targeted leadership searches – especially for president, CEO, and board member positions – and grew and managed a global team of market- and functionally-focused senior consultants.
Richard is also an experienced transactional attorney, having previously practiced law at both GTC Law Group’s Los Angeles affiliate and Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, where he provided structuring and tax advice as well as negotiated M&A transactions, venture capital investments, technology licenses, and strategic alliances.
Richard has served on various public and private boards of directors, and currently serves on the Board of Advisors of the Harold Price Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at UCLA's Anderson School of Business. He also has spoken before numerous professional and educational organizations including the Venture Capital Conference, the Harvard Alumni Association, the MIT/Caltech Enterprise Forum, and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Richard holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge, a J.D. from Tulane University Law School, and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
