At Velt, each year we participate in a variety of volunteer efforts, and fundraisers. We believe it is vital to give back to the world and those less fortunate.
Though we're lauded as a bridge to amazing foreign opportunities, our work never overrides our commitment to the communities we directly serve. We're particularly committed to assisting the San Francisco community, where entrepreneurial ideas can deliver great, helpful ideas for the world.
Homelessness is a tremendous, contentious issue, and one that the California Bay Area has struggled with for a long time. Velt Advisory is collaborating with a group of young entrepreneurs in the Silicon Valley who are developing an application to help the homeless in San Francisco. The development team is working with the City of San Francisco to vet homeless community members online, and will allow donors using the program to give to a specific person based on their profile and personal history.
Though still in development, we see this app has enormous potential; when finished, it can be used across every major city and has the potential for global expansion, which is something we're passionate about creating and endorsing. We've committed to donating 3% of our profits to this cause and providing administrative and marketing support.
Velt Advisory is honored to be a sponsor of the Lipstick Angels Fundraiser Art Exhibition being held on March 30, 2017 in Hollywood, CA. Lipstick Angels’ mission is to provide nurturing beauty support services to restore and strengthen the dignity, hope and self-esteem of cancer patients.
Silverman Productions, in partnership with Kimball Entertainment, is presenting an intimate art exhibition showcasing the creative works of three uniquely distinguished LA artists Hermann Lederle, Jay Silverman and Cora Silverman.
The artists share a common passion for the Lipstick Angels Charity and will be donating 50% of the proceeds to the charity. Lipstick Angels’ mission is to provide nurturing beauty support services to restore and strengthen the dignity, hope and self-esteem of cancer patients.
We are delighted to welcome you as private guest to a unique art installation - you can expect a provocative selection of contemporary art, including mixed media, photography, astute illustrative sketches and live music by composer Dave Holden.
